Standard suction cups work by creating a vacuum, which requires a perfectly smooth, airtight surface (like glass). Since wood, textured plastic, or leather are porous (they have tiny holes or gaps), the air leaks in and the suction fails.

How to use it:

  1. Clean the surface: Wipe down the wooden or textured area with a bit of rubbing alcohol to remove dust and oils.
  2. Peel and Stick: Remove the adhesive backing from the bottom of this disk and press it firmly onto your wood grain surface.
  3. Wait: It’s best to let the adhesive "cure" for about 24 hours before adding weight.
  4. Mount your device: Stick your suction cup mount directly onto the smooth top of this disk.

Why it exists:

  • Creates a Smooth Seal: It provides a non-porous, glass-like surface for the suction cup to grab onto.
  • Protects Surfaces: It prevents the suction cup’s silicone or gel from potentially staining or damaging sensitive materials like natural wood or soft-touch dashboards.

A quick tip: If you ever want to remove it from that wood surface, use a hairdryer to gently warm the adhesive first. This softens the glue so it peels off without splintering the wood or leaving a sticky mess behind!

Upon approval you will receive an email with instruction on how to replace your item (which will include a grand total of $12.99 shipping and handling for SOLO Ring & EDGE Replacements and $14.99 shipping & handling for TRIO & MAX Replacements*).  


Please Note:

If a product is defective and breaks within 30 days of purchase, we will waive the shipping and handling fee. Proof of purchase is also required. Upload your receipt for approval.

The guarantee is for a one time replacement for the original purchase of your product, not to be used continuously on an item that has already been replaced.
